iverson19 Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Hi i am a 21 and i joined on a dating site and i starting talking with this girl who is 17 when we started to get to know each other we found out we had some stuff in common. We talked on the phone and we both like each other and we are talking about meeting we both dont have a problem with the age difference but i dont know is it wrong to date her BTW i live in Pennsylvania so if anybody can help i would greatly appreciate it.
LexiB Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Generally speaking, there's nothing wrong with the age difference at all as long as you both are comfortable with it. From a legal POV however, you might wanna wait the extra year or couple of months until she turns 18. As it stands if you two do end up hooking up, one false move on your part during the relationship (including breaking up with her) and she cld call you out for statutory ~ assuming she's mad/psycho enough. You never know... good luck
jerbear Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Do a search of "age of consent" and "Pennsylvania". If she is in another state, it depends on that state also. Pretty much depends on where the act happens.
