im in 11th grade, and theres a girl i really like. she sits in front on me in one of my classes. we dont really know each other, other then from me riding the same school bus home as her. Every time we have class, i want to talk to her, but never know what to say. Since i have never really talked to her before, i dont know what to say. i always consider saying hello to her, but then fear that i dont have anything else to say after that. what can i say to her to break the ice and get a conversation going with out being weird

Why not just go up to her and say hi? talk about how the english class or the principal is blah blah blah...

If there is a short break, break it off and say you are going to your next class.

During one class, ask her how she did on the test. Share thoughts/ideas/marks with each other. If she didn't do so well, make a nice comment with a sympathetic concern and carry on from there. Most girls like guys who can hold up interesting and confident conversations. Best of luck !

Don't be intimidated in the sense that you think you have to say some ultra witty comment like in the movies.. Those one liners don't really exist in real life. All you need is an "in", then go from there at your own pace. Eventually she will know you like her, and you will be able to tell from her body langauge if she likes you to.

In this case, you're "in" is obviously the class, so mention an upcoming test, ask to compare notes or to study together. Ask her for help for one of the sections(pretend you don't get it) or ask her if she needs help. Don't be afraid.
