a4a Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I said relationships, not marriages. First off, you shouldn't get married if you have these feelings mentioned by the OP. If these feelings occur after marriage, then i would suggest a marriage counselor of some sort, or have a serious discussion with you S.O. Even in the best of marriages s*** happens. Including the statements of the OP as examples. But you should never use your relationship or the way a SO treats you as a measurement of your true value as a person. I think way too many people do this.

Pyro Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 like when, back in February? Yes, of 2002. People are capable of improving themselves for the better.
kitten chick Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 So then we can all agree that people are just douchebags and there should be no such thing as relationships anymore? I think that would solve a lot of problems.

I think that would solve a lot of problems. Unless you meet the right kind of person, but that can be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Sort of like leasing a car. ...36 month term, 150 sexual acts per year with $25 penalty per sexual act over the limit, maintenance not included, with penalties for excess wear and tear. taxes, title and plates not included.

My ex used to joke that each year we renewed our relationship on our anniversary for the next year. This past year I joked I wasn't renewing it, we were on a contract basis. Guess I saw it coming even then...
