Guest Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 My girlfriend broke up with me about 1.5 months ago and my friend told me that she recently deleted my name from her buddy list on AOL. I haven't sent her 1 IM since we broke up and she hasn't sent me any. I am just curious why she would delete me when she has guys she dated before me on there and hasn't deleted them. She has like 150 names on her buddy list and why would she only delete mine? Could it be because she is trying to forget me and she doesn't want to see when I am online. We didn't end on bad terms at all and we agreed to remain friends. This may sound a little dumb but I just wanted some input. Thanks I still miss her and I don't know why she would do this.

robot Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 It doesn't mean she dislike/hates you. She obviously feels some pain to see you (symbolically that is), thats why you are not on her AIM. You must have been special to her. But you must realize that your ex is just trying to move on. From you post about your amicable breakup, I'm pretty sure that if you have something urgent (e.g. house on fire), you will still be able contact her etc. Personally, I delete all my exes past emails/contacts from Outlook and Gmail. All photos etc are written to a DVD and stored away with gifts etc. Its the best way to heal. I have got no hard feelings with the ex. Its more of a personal process that one goes through, you have to understand. Everyone deals with breakup with subtle differences. Its just her way. I wouldn't be worried about it dude. Be positive.
