Let the man spoil the woman!~

Nah, let the son who will be a future man spoil the mom! Outsource that spoiling job to the son. :p:lmao: :lmao: Hence the half day spa treatments for her (with me of course :D)

Just kidding on the son issue. BTW.

I could be way off base, but I truly don't think the girl should pay for the first few dates, unless it's her idea.

I don't think so either. I think, ideally, and in my ever so humble opinion, that the guy should pay, but the girl should at least offer. Or maybe pay for part of the date. I don't think she should pay for the whole thing.

Hey Tan, I'll be in SF on Sat. You can buy me lunch and I'll pay for ONE drink. :lmao:

Okay, but once I turn on the charm you'll be willing to pay for more than just one.

Things will even out if they end up getting married. Ever go through 9 months of pregnancy and 12 hrs of labor?

Ever have to put up with being in a relationship with a woman? :D

Thanks guys for your discussions here. :)

To clarify a few things, yes we do go out to dinners and most of them he will pay. I offered to pay couple of times, and also bought tickets to two concerts for him. He is very well established financially, and has lots of investments. FYI, he is a lawyer, and I am a student.

Hmmm, it sounds like you do do somethings. He may just not value the same activities as you. Perhaps he doesn't see the value of spending money on sporting events. My SO will spend $200 on Dinner but when it comes to buying Tickets to a baseball game, he perfers if I can get us in free with my connections. He could just be very careful with his money and have some financial goals that you are not aware of. You should start asking him some questions about his goals so you can get a clearer picture and then make a choice if he is on the same page as you.
