noclobber Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 My female friend had travelled over the weekend to attend her girlfriend's wedding. Apparently she has flirted a lot with the bridegroom when they were both alone. Two days after the wedding that guy had told his wife that he would have rather chosen my friend instead of her. When my friend said this I was initially angry with that guy for such a stupid remark but then realized what might have made him say that. I told to my friend on her face that it was wrong for her to have flirted with that guy. She keeps telling "Well I flirted but I really didn't mean to". whatever... I know about my friend very well. This is the one for whom I developed feelings for only to learn that she sees me as 'just a friend'. I was not an idiot to ask her out without getting some kind of vibes from her and now I am convinced that the bridegroom was in the same situation as well. I think some women do all sorts of things just to stroke their own ego at the expense of other peoples' feelings. I am very very disappointed with my buddy's behavior.... sorry, just felt like venting
MadDog Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I think some women do all sorts of things just to stroke their own ego at the expense of other peoples' feelings. You would think right. People with insecurities (e.g. how desirable they are) often end up acting like a**h***s. Your friend is no exception, even if she is a chick.
