"I hate wanting to do things that I know are mistakes. But because I know I shouldn't do it, I want it so much more. Isn't that what life is? Wanting what you can't have? Aren't mistakes the most memorable events? Isn't drama what keeps life going?

Oh life. It hurts, but it hurts so good. "

Wow V.............did your ex-gf say this??

I wouldn't know how to reply to this, mostly because I don't think this is what life is about.

Mistakes/drama have a place in our lives, but I view them as an avenue to grow as a person............and be happy. Not to be coveted as the 'norm' or a motivation.

s***.......I hope you didn't write the above quote, because my opinion is that the person who wrote it is on a self-fulfilling prophesy of a tortured life.

But I'm guessing that the quote isn't from you.;)

Tell her when she grows up, to contact you if you are still available.

OMG! RUN! This xgf is bad news!

If she's hurt you once, she'll do it again and if she's looking for drama to make life interesting and memorable, oy! Run!

I would say whoever said that is extremely selfish! Greedy and selfish!

Here's how I'd respond:

No, what you describe ISN'T what life is! It's NOT wanting what you can't have but being happy with what you DO have (Didn't Sherryl Crow say that?)

Drama is NOT what keeps life going. Love and serinity and love ARE.

Call me when you grown up.
