Wicked Wanda Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 When a guy (or girl for that matter) says that they're in the relationship to have fun, what do they mean?
alphamale Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 When a guy (or girl for that matter) says that they're in the relationship to have fun, what do they mean? it means it is casual and not serious...
MadKurlz Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 sounds like they want no complications in the relationship. thats its not serious
Author Wicked Wanda Posted May 7, 2006 Author Posted May 7, 2006 I would probably believe that if it's said within the first year or so of a relationship - but how about 20 years....
justagirliegirl Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 I would probably believe that if it's said within the first year or so of a relationship - but how about 20 years.... What is the situation? After 20 years, maybe they would like more fun and lightness to the relationship.
Author Wicked Wanda Posted May 7, 2006 Author Posted May 7, 2006 sorry...we're talking MM and OW... I've been trying to get rid of him for a while and he keeps coming back. In one of our last arguements, he claimed he wanted only fun... not a relationship... Huh? Doesn't 20 years make a relationship?
Lishy Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 It means you are just his bit on the side! It means he has the serious stuff with his wife and you are just his bit of fun! Its what it says on the tin! Get away from him WW - He is not good for you, you have wasted 20 years on him, dont give him another day!
whichwayisup Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 It means that it's just about sex and fun - no feelings, no emotions, no strings attached. I've been trying to get rid of him for a while and he keeps coming back. In one of our last arguements, he claimed he wanted only fun... not a relationship... Huh? Doesn't 20 years make a relationship? Be STRONG WW, he keeps coming back because you're ALLOWING him back into your life. 20 years does NOT make a relationship when he's married to someone else. If he loved you enough he would be with YOU only. He's selfish and taking from you. What are YOU getting out of this? And how long do you want to be used by this MM? How much pain and heartache do you have to put up with before you realize he's NOT WORTH IT!
Adunaphel Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 sorry...we're talking MM and OW... I've been trying to get rid of him for a while and he keeps coming back. In one of our last arguements, he claimed he wanted only fun... not a relationship... Huh? Doesn't 20 years make a relationship? They don't. They make an one-sided relationship....where you are basically preventing yourself from dating other people and finding the right man, and he has no intention of ever getting serious with you. He wants to have fun with you...no commitment....and he's basically had what he wanted for 20 years. At your expenses. I'm sorry, it is a very bad situation to be in. As Lishy said, do not wast more time on him. It's not really worth it. I can't believe people can be as selfish as your MM, keeping you on the side for all those years and telling you after such a long time that he wants only fun! (I am curious to know more about your situation now....I'll look for your other threads)
whichwayisup Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 The thing is too, he will just keep on taking (you should know this too after 20 years) the more you allow him to. STAND UP and end it. For your own sanity. If you ever want a life with a man who will love ONLY you, tell him it's over and never to contact you again. It's the only way you can be free and try to have a life of your own.
