I'm just curious what you all think about this. I'm not talking about the very low-key flirting that virtually everyone does, but rather the more risque and overt style of flirting.

Do you think it's possible that someone be a merciless flirt and yet still totally devoted ? As for myself, I've found that if I flirt a lot that usually means something isn't totally right in the relationship. If I'm feeling totally committed I keep my flirting to a polite minimum. I also wander what I would do if I was flirting a lot with an attractive woman, she reciprocated, and an opportunity arose. Sometimes it's hard to back down after you've been flirting so flagrantly. I know everyone is different though.

Some women have learned to flirt with men because of the positive feedback they get. Men seldom get as much positive feedback from flirting, unless they are drop dead gorgeous and utterly charming, where as even an average looking girl will often get positive feedback.

You're thoughts ?

How far is too far ? What does it mean, if anything ?

I'm not sure, I thought I could read if a girl was single. But many lip licking, eye gazing, touching, talking about certain stuff, girls turn out to have a boyfriend. Maybe, it is true that they flirt with me because their subconscious tells them they want a taller mate, instead of their current guy but their rational thinking tells to stay with the one they love, because that offers a secure situation.

Those weird primitive signs of interest are very nice, but sometimes I get annoyed by them. Common sense, a busy life that would be ruined by a love affair, a boyfriend that offers her a secure past uinstead of teh emotional rollercoaster you ahve to offer, and all those others things, make it so darn complicated...
