babydoll_mimi Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Isn't it funny, and really annoying how we get that feeling you described? We have this whole speech planned, of the crap we're gonna call them on when we talk to them next...then they call, and the sound of their voice sends all that talk out the window...ugh, MEN!
Blackdragon5095 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Divorce his ass. And get with the man your cheating with. You can't make yourself love someone.
movinon05 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 you are absolutely right, but why would he do that? I never told him I wanted to come. I just think he's a flat out bullshytter! When push came to shove, he backed out.
Author stillafool Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 He is a bullshyter! He's probably gotten fat and doesn't want me to see him (I'm just hoping this is the case). Or maybe he decided on Mother's Day that he has a wonderful wife and kids and how could he go behind her back and plan to see his ex for dinner and anything else he could get. If this is the case then I don't feel so bad. When I think about the way he was bragging that he dates (outside of his marriage) all the time. I talked to a friend of mine about that and he said "doesn't that sound strange that he would tell you such a thing?" MM is 53 years old and he's bragging to me as if he has the libido of a 22 yr. old. My friend said he's still very immature and no man would brag about cheating on his wife to a future OW or anyone else. It isn't something to be proud of. I don't understand why he even bothered to tell me all of this especially when I kept the conversation as casual as possible and only told him how I use to feel and how happy my life was not with my new H.
movinon05 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Who knows what goes through his mind! I say, good riddance to bad rubbish!

You are so right, I had my speech prepared. Now I don't know what I would say when he calls or if he ever calls again. Do you think he will? OMG, what is wrong with me???????????
movinon05 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Do you really want him? When you know he's been sleeping around with other women?
Author stillafool Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 That's a good question. I just had to sit here and think about that one for a while. Kinda I did at first, but not now. I guess I just wanted to be the first one to ditch him and it seems he got me first again. Damn it!
movinon05 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Don't be surprised to hear from him again. Then you'll get your chance to hang up or not respond!
RealityCheck Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Don't be surprised to hear from him again. Then you'll get your chance to hang up or not respond! That's for sure!!
babydoll_mimi Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 SAF: you'll hear from him again. I think it's safe to assume we always do. Their timing is always amazingly off...but we hear from them. Good luck remembering your prepared speech next time he calls.lol
