UT_longhorn Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 are younger women attracted to older men - woman 21, man 28? if so what are some of the things that they mght be attracted to. if not, what might be some of the things that theyre not?
Curmudgeon Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Ummm! Maybe they just like one another. Imagine that!
Alexandra Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 What is it with this misinterpretation of terms these days? 21-28 hardly constitutes "an age gap" nor is it really a case of "younger woman-older man" maybe it's just me but shouldn't there be some healthy 15-20 years between them so that the terms aren't as out of place? *Waves to the interesting-and-a-tad-older-man above though and refrains from using the lovey dovey smiley instead of a devilish one that doesn't exist on LS*
Curmudgeon Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Well, make it 30-35 years and it's you and me, Babe!
Alexandra Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Well, make it 30-35 years and it's you and me, Babe! *Does happy dance for having been called "Babe" and posts to say so despite derailing yet another thread... it's a habit now."
ImWithHim Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Personally, I am. Here's why: - They tend to be more mature - Generally financially stable (not rich, just stable!) - Have outgrown the annoying party phase - Don't think it's cool to just buy alcohol and get drunk - Don't dress or in general behave a particular way just to impress their friends. - Don't spend a fortune on a car just because it's "cool" (seeing a theme here? ) - Physically, they tend to have filled out more, thereby not just being skin and bones. They actually have a little something to snuggle up to in bed. And lets face it, there's just something about the thought of an "older & wiser" man that does it for me. However, I try not to tell IWHer that he's wiser too often or it makes him get a big head.
burning 4 revenge Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Ummm! Maybe they just like one another. Imagine that! i agree. there is way too much emphasis on finding "types". people get it into their head that they want a certain physical "type", whether it is age, or race, or height, weight or whatever and they see the world with no peripheral vision. they shortchange themselves. of course, you know me, i only date pillows
Alexandra Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 of course, you know me, i only date pillows What colour of pillows? What year were they made in? Big fluffy pillows?
burning 4 revenge Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 I can't say right now, my pillow is watching me
Alexandra Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 But what color are the covers? That's a deeper one.... not to mention that the covers need washing and ironing or else one they they rot and fall off... But I digress, let him tell us all those and THEN we can analyse why he is attracted to that particular type.
Alexandra Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 I can't say right now, my pillow is watching me Dude, your pillow can't watch you, can't even see you, you're on invisible. Get back on the Prozac!
Curmudgeon Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 It's the aliens, Alexandra. Didn't you know that? Probes and all!
jerbear Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 are younger women attracted to older men - woman 21, man 28? if so what are some of the things that they mght be attracted to. if not, what might be some of the things that theyre not? Here is a kicker, I've a guy attracted to older women. When I was 21 I dated a 27 yr old. When I was 25 a 30 etc... now I just bumped into a younger woman about 9 years my junior and she pretty much side swiped me. For me she had brains and beauty; now I'll worry about personality.
Toni_no12002 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 My sis is 18 and shes been going out with a 41 year old for 2 and a half years!I think they like that they have experience and are mature.Or maybe it could be to do with the fact they didnt really have a father role or something.Sometimes that is the reason.
