In college I have roomates who always keep an eye on all of my actions, they always criticize, comment, and question on every single stupid little thing I do (ex. what I watch on TV, what im eating, what im doing, where Im going, what im staring at, etc...). I mean, if it was occasionally, it would not be as a big of deal, but they do it non stop, and they get every single chance to make fun of me too. its all very predictable for me. it just annoys the hell out of me.

These guys are somewhat immature and live life on the safe side, all they do is watch tv and play video games all day long.

I just had to write this to get it out of my system, but I was wondering how many of you know people like this, and how do you deal with it?

make new friends and hang out in their rooms. go to the library. spend as little time in there as possible, but be there enough to show it's still your room too. bring a friend into your room, there's less likely to screw with you if someone else is around, and at least if they do you can say, "i have company, do you mind?"

Hm, well your profile says you'd rather not reveal your gender, so I'll try to answer for both genders:

If you're a guy, they're probably just bustin' your balls. That's what guys do - it's a form of affection. When it gets on your nerves, do what TeaCooler says, take a walk, go to the library, etc. You can always use homework as an excuse. And make new friends as well! If it REALLY bothers you, keep in mind that you only have to live with these people for so long. When the semester is over find a new place to live.

If you're a gal - hm... well, I don't think girls really "bust each other's balls" like guys. I mean, girls tease each other now and then but if it sounds mean, it was probably meant to be mean. Girls can be bitches sometimes. Being a gal myself, I know that in college I've had moments where I've felt "picked on," and it usually helped to get away from the situation until my own pissiness settled down. Then I would return with a dose of quietness...if anyone asked, I'd tell them what's wrong, talk about it, and eventually end up laughing about it!

Hope my babbling helped at least a little bit. Good luck!

changed my gender thing, turns out im a male.

They don't just do it to me, but thats how their real personality and normal behaviors really are when they are around people they are comfterable with, but hide it and act insecure around everyone else.

Punch them... Violence solves everything.

Generally make them feel like you are and make their life hell too.
