I think four months is enough lapsed time to tell someone you feel they are special. There is no rule on who should speak first. If he has been treating you very special and has shown that he may have strong feelings toward you, go ahead and tell him. Don't hold it back. On the other hand, if you have no idea how he feels...keep your mouth shut. Only tell someone that you love them if you have very strong feelings and they have shown evidence that they would be open to hearing those words. Don't get into some contest on who should speak first. In these uncertain times, we never know what day could be our last. By the way, I have been meaning to tell you that I love you!!!
