catgirl1927 Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 It depends. How long does it take you to get a tan in the sun? It could take anywhere from a week (2-3 sessions) to a month (8-10 sessions).
laRubiaBonita Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 it really depends on how you tan. I JUst started doing tanning salons/ beds this spring, i like it, not only does it help with my SED, but i look and feel better whn i am tanner, rather than paler. i can say i burnt my breast for the first ime ever last month! not cutand quite painflul!

Yes, everyone looks better with a tan. The key is to do it in moderation. Tanning is actually much safer than burning, I know you're not supposed to say that but I still think it is. Once you get your tan established, really once a week is enough. Too tan is better than pale, but just the right tan is perfect. Man, I miss it, does it show? :(
Scott S Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 how long does it take to tan on sun beds? Being rather fair-skinned, I have to start very gradually, otherwise I suffer some nasty sunburns. I use them at the beginning of the warm weather, starting out 5 minutes the first time, a few days later for about 10 minutes, a couple more 10 minute sesssions, then a couple more 15 minute sessions, each a few days apart. By this time, I'll have enough that the real sun can take over from there. By June, I will be a nice golden color, & my hair sun-bleached. I LOVE Summer!
