Hi,

There is a girl in my class, which I like. We have talked couple of times in the classroom (when we sat next to each other OR just hello when we pass each other), and I talked with confidence, didn't have any problem. She seems to like me too. Yesterday, When I went to sit with her in the library for study(to get her number), I couldn't even sit next to her, my heart starts pounding so fast. I was keep talking about the class, while standing, but could not do that for little longer because of my heart beat. So I left with "See you later," and couldn't ask her for a nice dinner with me.

Please someone tell me if there is any solution to control my heart pounding? It has been a week, I cannot even focus on my study either. My class is so crowedy (554 students), so there is rarely chance sit next to each other, AND before class, she is with her whole bunch of friends (which I don't know) waiting outside the classroom.

hey Shan,

Listen, the only way to tackle your hear beat problem is just to go for it.

If you think she likes you too what have you got to lose?

You're heart only beats like that because of nerves, you are usually confident because you're not asking her anything risky. Don't let her see your nerves and just take the plunge, after all if you never ask you'll never know and then you will regret it.
