chocolate_boy Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Ok this is a bit of a new one! I have been single now for 6 months, and after getting over last year's disaster of a relationship, I have been very happy on my own recently. Tonight went out with my buddy, who I also live with, we were college mates and have lived together for about 4 years now. However he's always been habitualy single, never had a proper girlfriend, and I have had 3 serious relationships come and go in the time we've lived together. So usually this would never be a problem in the past. But tonight we were out and chatting to some girls, and I quite liked one of them and got chatting to her, my buddy comes over and joins in the conversation and steams in, we're all talking and after 2 mins he then asks for her phone number, which she gave him, and he's gonna call her and ask her out on Friday... Now, you may think I'm a bit of a loser for waiting too long etc. but obv I didn''t want to ask her too as I would look like an idiot! so she probably presumed I wasn't that interested in the end. I just don't think my friend has ever seen me pick up girls when we're out as I've always had a girlfriend most of the time he's known me. I've not said anything to him as didn't want to look jealous or bitter, but you think he was wrong to steam in there like that, or am I being a wuss?
westernxer Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 I don't see a right or wrong here, but I do see plenty more opportunities to meet tons of chicks. This is what freedom is all about.
