We have just got an apartment together and are going to be sharing as room mates by next week (his idea). I can't wait, I am so excited! He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We do everything together, and he always appears to consider my feelings. Nothing has ever hapened between, although when we have had a drink we are usually the guy and the girl who keep hugging each other. We have so much in common, same taste in music, similar personality, and we just get on like a house on fire. It's fab. He's my best mate but is there maybe more to it?? I now have a boyfriend. But my mate is 10 times the man that my boyfriend is. I recently confided in my friend how I had thought that something was going to happen between us on new years eve. I had thought he would be the one I was kissing at midnight, but he wasn't. And that I had grown to have feelings towards him. He didn't really comment that much to be honest. He can be quite shy in regards to his deep feelings (yet appears so confident with everything else!). He hasn't made a move on me in any way, but he hasn't run a mile either. We had a chat the other night and I know that he finds it hard to let people truely close to him. He thinks that's why he is single (we do have deep and meaningful conversations!). But basically what I am wondering is, is it just a one way street or is there maybe the potential for something more??
