xxrubyredxx Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 What was it then that people were looking for when they decided to cheat (if not the feel-good warmth of sex)? Nothing to do with the sex, not in my situation anyway. I was the OW to a guy, with whom I'd had a long term relationship lasting nine years and all previous to his marriage and him meeting his wife. His marriage and wife, came shortly after we seperated, not even a year after our seperation in fact! I became the OW after his marriage, probably because I was having a hard time totally letting go of him and despite the fact he'd gone off and got married. 9 years with someone, is a long time - you can't just switch off feelings. He too, seemed to have a hard time totally letting go of me and is why I can't understand him getting married in the first place. However he did!
