So i started seeing this guy during the process of my divorce. We slept together really fast.He treats me great and we talk all the time.we were hanging out nearly everyday of the week for quite sometime.During my divorce process he said he wouldnt say he was my boyfriend b/c of that.ugh. so my divorce was finalized amonth ago.i asked him if we were bf/gf now he said he didnt want to commit to that right now and he cares about me and doesnt want me with anyone else or himself. We havent been hanging out as much or having sex as much either. He said he has his reasons for us not being bf/gf.1 is i have children. They are quite young but not babies and they take alot of my time.Of course my children come be4 any man but him n i were spending alot of time together.I dont know if im being stupid by trying to hang on and see if he decides he wants to be my boyfriend.Helpppppppppp.

Your not being stupid , just newly divorced.IMO you should definitly move on ,not neseceraly to a commited relationship, but this guy sounds like he's just making excuses for not wanting to have to be exclusive to you while you are to him.

You just got a divorce, why go looking for another serious relationship? Go out and have fun with the kids. Go to a few bars, have a few one night stands, enjoy the single life for a bit. I would wait a while before looking for something serious.

For you it could be a rebound relationship that you rushed into so you may give it more importance than he does. I think you should take a break and just spend time with your children achieving balance in your life. His message was very clear. Children are not an option. However, they're your reality.

After you just had a divorce you probably need time to adjust to being single. Your happiness isn't dependent on others - or at least it shouldn't be not at this early stage. Be careful you don't get carried away thinking this guy will fit into your life where your husband was. Though it it was a messy divorce/bad situation I guess you wouldn't want that anyway. I think if you just take things slowly and see what happens it'll either work out with the guy or you'll find better. Respect to you putting your children first and hope it all comes together for you. Good luck!
