SmoochieFace Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Those people who get pissed off about getting poked need to grow up. They sure do...
tinktronik Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Well, I've heard that if you poke anyone with a sharp stick in the eye, repeatedly, that they will get pissed off. Isn't that odd? Why can't people handle being poked in the eye with sharp sticks? Those people who get pissed off about getting poked need to grow up. he who pokes with stick , needs to wear sunscreen<-------------#3,112
aleatoryd Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Er... I'm confused. I thought you were agreeing with each other and the "Hot Coco?" bit was saying that you guys agreed and did you want a hot chocolate? As in a drink. I guess being from the UK I'm not totally up-to-date with American insults? I really haven't a clue what the offense was. Anyway we've successfully de-railed another thread I'm really mystified but I hope you all settle your differences soon!
glittergurl Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Isn't Hot Coco another member? I remember seeing that screen name last November. From what I remember, he/she was nice. lol And I love how I only come here when my husband's on business trips
RealityCheck Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Mmmm.... I've been on both sides of the fence. For me, I really don't feel either is more important than the other. It is all about two people having the same interest at the time.

SmoochieFace Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Yes' date=' Hot Coco was another member. And I thought she was very nice too.[/quote'] More like *alter ego*.
blind_otter Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 I don't know why anyone would bother having an alter ego. It would get confusing and WTF would be the point on an anonymous website that we all turn off when we return to our reguarly scheduled lives?

It seems that some want the fantasy to continue... even after hours.
grateful Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 I'm so confused. I clicked to the last page of the marriage thread and thought I must have misclicked to the "Have you ever" thread. Can you people try to keep it straight so that the little newbie here doesn't get confused?!? I'm going to go create an alter ego on a dating web site so I can get "married" on the web and try it out before I do the deed IRL. I'll report back for the OP to let him know if I suddenly change into a nagging, sexless, mommy figure who belittles my husband. Oh wait - - maybe that should be the characteristics of my alter ego so I can see if I can hook a "web husband" who doesn't like surprises and just wants to get right into "typical married life."

I think the alter-ego thingy with the web-hubby sounds like a wonderful idea. BTW... what is that long word on your cake-av?
grateful Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 I think the alter-ego thingy with the web-hubby sounds like a wonderful idea. BTW... what is that long word on your cake-av? Thärichens Tentett. It's the name of a German jazz band. "Grateful" was the name of an album they put out and this is their logo for it. I stole it after I image googled the word grateful because I love cake. Maybe I'll use it as my web alter ego during my hubby hunt.

I thought it looked German but I had some difficulty seeing it well cuz of its size.
thegoodhubbie Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 I'll report back for the OP to let him know if I suddenly change into a nagging, sexless, mommy figure who belittles my husband. Sounds just like what my wife is slowly becoming.
grateful Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Sounds just like what my wife is slowly becoming. Maybe you should buy some cheap invitations. But seriously, have you talked to her about it? Despite what men think and warn each other about, this isn't an inevitable role. Have you ever discussed your expectations? Negotiated household chores and tasks, as well as timetables to accomplish them that are realistic? Made a plan for sex (sometimes necessary with kids and work schedules, etc)? I believe wives won't nag if you let them know when you expect to get to a task, or at least that it's on your mind as well. I should say that I do know a couple where the wife is an incredible belittling nag. She does it in front of guests, and the worst part is she is nagging a hard working guy. I'm convinced she is going to lose a good partner. But what can you do? ... some people aren't good at communiticating. But in most cases I think there are tensions that create the poor communicating that could very easily be alleviated with a few calm discussions.
thegoodhubbie Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Maybe you should buy some cheap invitations. :lmao: Thanks for the laugh! It's just life, that's all. We had a rough weekend last weekend. I broke my arm one day, and she had a car accident the next, so we have both been on edge. My wife is actually a very sweet person, I was just venting. Though sometimes I do see her faintly becoming a nagging, sexless mommy figure and it sucks. Just how it is when you have kids and bills. Our sex life has been dwindling to begin with and now it is going to be worse. In the last year it has gone from 3xs a week or better to once every 2 weeks so, I'm a little bummed.

Yeah, marriage can be a real pain in the ass... especially when the wifey decides to put the pussy on restricted access status. Well s***, what can you do... I s'pose that good 'ol *hand and lotion* technique might take the edge off those blues. Thank god I'm not married though. In spite of that I have lots of reasons to smile... at least I'm getting some pussy!
