justagirliegirl Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I posted a few weeks ago about a little tiff my bf and I got into and it worked out ok. I laid it on the line and pretty much said make up your mind either you want me or you don't and he wanted me. Why do I feel so sad and down most of the time? I do suffer from depression but is it just that? He has been contacting me a whole lot more. I have been a little less available. Still there is nothing romantic or flirting about his messages to me anymore. Rarely he says something sweet to me. He still seems to want to go through with me moving to his country.
MadDog Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 As has been mentioned on here, people express love in different ways. He might be the kind of guy that doesn't express his affection for you with words but uses actions (holds your hand, buys you gifts, etc.) instead. If, however, he doesn't do anything to show you he cares, it's time to find another guy who can.
Author justagirliegirl Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 Yeah I really do miss the physical but we are in different countries. For right now, all we have are phone calls and our messages and yes he is there most everyday to talk but I feel like just a friend almost. In the beginning he was very sweet attentive and romantic online even. He seldom asks me about anything. Would it be wrong to tell him I miss the romance and flirting?
TheSwordfish Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Depend on how you bring it, if you tell it in a nice positive way there's nothing wrong with it.
Author justagirliegirl Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 Ok what are some good ways to say it without seeming needy or spock like. Both my tendencies.
