Does he love me?

Oh dear. I have been seeing this guy for one year, we met on a dating website. He is nice and kind to me but I don't feel he is in love with me. He hasn't made any references to our future but keeps asking me out. I have given him every chance to drop off the radar screen as feel it is his place to do the asking, so he could disappear relatively easily if he wanted but he keeps asking me out. He has never once kissed me on the lips and given me more than a kiss on the cheek like you are kissing your relatives. I have noticed he doesn't make any gestures like giving me a look, a hug a kiss when I am not expecting. We have got a bit friendly in the bedroom dept on a few occasions but felt he was just going through the motions, I know he isn't gay but he hasn't kissed me on the lips. I just can't figure out what is up. I am wondering if he is attracted to me? If he doesn't love me what is he doing with me? I have asked him all these questions but never get a straight answer. I would like to know if this a man/woman thing, men want physical things and women want love, perhaps he does love me and this is his way of expressing it? Can anyone help or give me their views on what they think is going on as am seriously thinking of checking out of this relationship. Thank you for your help.
