movinon05 Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I am going to try to shed a little ray of hope. Just got home from work. Kids are gone for the weekend. Just showered and shaved ;), and I am off to spend the weekend with my BF. And although its supposed to rain cats and dogs, we will have fun anyway. When you move on, and try to let go of the past and the crap, good things can come to you. This I have learned. Doesn't mean those memories don't remain by any means. But when you allow yourself the freedom to live your own life, you can have a damn good time and appreciate yourself and those around you and life in general. So as I drive to my BF's place, I enjoy thinking about what the exMM is doing as I pass by his street. Perhaps he's in his basement, making a coffee table to match the end tables he made for me (lol). Planning his next strategy as I head off to be with a great guy. And by the time I get to my destination, thoughts of him are gone and I eagerly fall into a weekend of fun and great sex (best revenge ever, btw). And the exMM never enters my mind. So hang in there, have a great weekend, do something nice for yourself, and I'll catch up with you on the other side. Its good times like these that keep you focused and strong, get you through and keep you sane. And you heard it here first.
