Author CaliGuy Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 Hadn't spoken to her recently but she lost her son last October and apparently never recovered. Suicide is not the solution. It is an end to a means.
2sunny Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I am not quite sure any parent ever recovers from the death of their child. That's the toughest recovery out there....
chocolate_boy Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Bad news buddy. However you can put your efforts into suppporting the relatives of your friend and other friends. It is a terrible shame when this happens. Stay strong.
luvtoto Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I am not quite sure any parent ever recovers from the death of their child. That's the toughest recovery out there.... Geez, that statement really puts my ordeal into perspective. Sorry about your loss, CG.
Big_A Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I'm sorry. That's a tough one. Once again big life puts my little problems into perspective. Hold fast buddy.
DogBrain Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I lost a child 26 years ago. Eventually I lost my marriage and I don't think I'm exaggerating that I nearly lost my mind. Recovery? I'm still dealing with that deck and may never ever get square with it. My friends saved me. Cali, facing someone's suicide is tough but I know from what I read here that you are strong. As other posters suggested, celebrate her life by supporting her family and friends. It means so much. db
