Brittanyjean06 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I was reading this book last night, Ten secrets every woman should know in life...As she was talking about her painful break up, she put in there that she was not in love with him, but in the state of being in love This makes perfect sence to me, I meen you can make your self feel all these wonderful things, that this person really isn't making you feel. Your creating all this love from in side you. Not from this person. My question is, in my case..from the 2 1/2 year relationship I had ( first love at 14) I can easily say that this was true for me, I had placed him upon a pedistil and wasn't in love with who he was, or what he did for me...but the feelings I that came from with in.. I hear all this stuff about never getting over your first love, but how can I get passed knowing that It wasn't true love, How can the pain last for a long time if it wasn't even true love, this is what I'm afraid of, dwelling over something that wasn't even true?

Author Brittanyjean06 Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 Yeah, I guess it really doesn't matter
kitten chick Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 First loves do take a long time to get over but if you keep growing as a person unto yourself you will move on to bigger and better.
