Craig Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I gave all the death threats on the answering machine, emails and one written to letter the cops. They have everything plus two of my neighbors saw her car speeding off. I am pressing charges to the fullest extent of the law. I want the book thrown at her. :bunny: :bunny: Sigh . . . finally. I wonder if all this would have happened had you contacted the police earlier as in when the death threats were made. Folks, this is exactly why you call 911 at the first opportunity after receiving a threat. Doing so may help prevent situations like this. Woggle, now you have an additional load of bullshyt and stress to deal with. Seeing her arrested and charged is one thing, having the evidence necessary to proceed to trial on those charges is quite another. Unless there is decent and admissible evidence get ready for the dropping of charges, the reductions of charges and the plea bargain game. Word of advice, be like a duck in the rain and let all the krap roll off your back.
HotCaliGirl Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Once this guy asked me out who I was not interested in so I said no. Over time I noticed that I was being followed by him, he found out where I lived and would put threatening notes in my mailbox so I called the police. They arrested him and found a large knife and rope in his car. What scared me more was that due to privacy laws they were not allowed to tell me when he was going to be released from jail so I was locked in my house out of fear for a while. I just realized a gun was involved from littlekitty - didn't know that was what cracked the window...good luck with this.
