serial muse Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Just wonderin'. Alpha said something in another thread about swearing off LTRs as well as marriage , and it got me thinking...how long is long, anyway? More than a year? Two years? Or is it just "long-term" once it gets to the "love you" point?
blind_otter Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I say it has to last at least a year. But who am I kidding, I'm just trying to shave some notches off my bedpost.
Author serial muse Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 that was funny. I guess I tend to think of long in terms of how emotionally invested I was. But I think I'd be doing some revisionist history, then, too. Cuz at least one guy I thought I was totally into back in the day doesn't seem particularly significant now. Also, he didn't make it to the one-year mark. So he's out.

MUUUuuahahahaaaa.
jerbear Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I say 1 year, 2+ years, 5 years, and at 5 years something better happen; ie. engagement or marriage. That is when I was in undergrad and now graduate is done. I would not know now about it now... 3 months maybe? :lmao: :lmao: Instead of notches, have HER make the scratches... :lmao:
