Having a hard time understanding my relationship. Why do people stay with you when they say they don't feel the same and cheat on top of it ?

Because of "love" or perceptions; also helps that she is beautiful and intelligent.

Easy.

 

The comfort of familiar people/surroundings. (Why they stay)

Insecurity in themselves to feel desired/loved. (Why they cheat)

why are you staying with this person if they did those things to you?

 

SEriously though cause why should they HAVE To do anything, they can have their cake and eat it to, since they know you won't do anything to stop them
