I like him but the age thing kinda puts me off. everybody's been laughin about it and if we went on a date this fri every1 in the two shops would find out (his bestmate at work's little sister works with me). plus since nothing as yet has really happened, im not majorly into him yet so if i shouldnt b going ahead with it now's the time to stop it. HELP! What do I do?

I CAN ONLY PUT OFF REPLYING TO HIM FOR SO LONG!!! PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

2 years is not that big BUT what are you planning on doing in the next few years as in college? new career? etc...

18 is kinda young to figure out what he really wants, ok, what he really wants 10 years from now.

If you just want a fling... use your judgement.

2 years is nothing. If you like him go for it. If you are having fun the teasing will die down. Yeah, he might be a bit young for a majorly serious relationship, but that doesn't mean the two of you can't have fun together.

Age is not nearly as relevant as maturity. I have met 17 year olds with more maturity than some 30 year olds. Anyway, that is what dating is FOR - to find out about the other person. If you plan on going out drinking with people next year, then the age might be an issue. Otherwise, find out what ELSE you like or don't like about him. Good luck!
