summergirl Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I met this guy on my ex's roomates bbq party last month, he friends with my ex's roomates. I was still with my ex back then (before he turned into a total jerk, please read my previous posts), me and my ex knew this guy for the 1st time at that party. He and my ex don't really know each other very close but I'm afraid they have their numbers, or can contact via my ex roomates. I never met him again since. Recently I found his profile on a friend-networking site I belong, I really want to send him a message! But I dont know what to say to make him reply, I'm afraid he won't respond cause he thinks I'm still with my ex. Or the worst case scenario, he'll call my ex (or his rommates) and tell his gf message him online. Should I write something like, hey I think I've seen you before you were the guy in the bbq party last month? Any better idea? I really need to know his number or ask him out sometimes. Is there any chance for me with my reputation as his new friend's ex?
