Author CaliGuy Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 You are a character.... And I do agree, you look quite young for your age! So you like the young'uns?
Author CaliGuy Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 it sounds like you are in complete control now I'd like to think so, but I still have a bit more work to do to be where I want to be. its scary what falling in love can do to a person though! Not just falling in love, but LOSING someone you love over things you had complete control over. DOH! i've got no doubt, it's just a matter of time for you! Thanks, I really appreciate the kind comments. What's funny is as I've reprogrammed myself I am finding that I am not attracted to the women I used to be attracted to. I want a real woman
2020vision Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 So you like the young'uns? No, actually, I am a "young'un" compared to you... What's funny is as I've reprogrammed myself I am finding that I am not attracted to the women I used to be attracted to. I want a real woman Very true. I feel the same way right now. (Minus the whole Woman part...because I want a real Man) I have reprogrammed my brain and heart to want a different type of guy. Or perhaps, It is what I have wanted all along and I am just realizing it...
Author CaliGuy Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 No, actually, I am a "young'un" compared to you... Once you go out with an older guy, you never go back to "boyz" - haha. Very true. I feel the same way right now. (Minus the whole Woman part...because I want a real Man) I have reprogrammed my brain and heart to want a different type of guy. Or perhaps, It is what I have wanted all along and I am just realizing it... Actually, when your confidence is healthy, you are happy and you start to understand yourself better, you'll find that your taste will change as well. I could relate to and was attracted to dysfunctional women only because *I* was dysfunctional as well. Now that my 'vision' is clear, I found myself wondering what I had seen in these women and other than being able to relate to them, there wasn't much else.

Or in this case, out of my fingers! It also goes both ways; When you are dysfunctional, all you will attract is dysfunctional people. As my confidence goes up, I notice that I do not even let guys in that are harmful to me, whereas before, I was in love (or so I thought) with one of those "guys" for 3 years! I know what I want, and will not settle for anything else.

blue16 Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Is it just me or do other girls on this site want to marry CaliGuy too? He's the forum stud.
Author CaliGuy Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 I'm marrying a woman from the UK or Australia. Love them accents. *drool*
Noos Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 So I have to compete in cyberspace too?? *Groan* Well girls, he's in my age range and I meet the criteria for #2, #3 and #4. We can hire someone for #1, okay?
Author CaliGuy Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 We need an auctioneer. Start the bidding
Lishy Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I might marry him ...... It depends how well he is hung!
littlekitty Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Now THAT is funny. Thinking about it though, my ex only had one of the four qualities. If I could just find one who had them all (except #5 of course, haha), I'd marry her *lol* Which is exactly why my SO plans to marry me!!
littlekitty Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I'll be auctioneer. Ladies... at what may the bids start for this rather handsome, confident, young looking, yet mature man start?
RecordProducer Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Don't be mad at me for saying this, please! They might be weird, but you were rude. The first lady obviously liked you, but some things - for whatever reason - she didn't like about you. Yet she was ready to establish contact with you and chose the wrong and awkward way to do that. But your reply was rude and kinda speaks of low self-esteem. A guy with a high self-esteem would have rolled his eyes, but written to her ironically: "Oh well, you can't please everyone! " or at least "Dear X, thanks for your email; I agree we have little in common! Best of luck to you! Cheers! " When I was on the dating sites, some guy IM'ed me saying: "When you stop smoking, call me!" It pissed me off cuz I didn't even like the guy so I looked at his profile and answered: "When you graduate from college, call me!" It was a low punch and I felt bad that I said that. About the girl #2, she just didn't want to seem desperate for meeting you and although she did lack tact, you showed that you get easily offended, which is totally anti-sexy. When a woman smacks you - you catch her hand and kiss her passionately! Just like in the old, romantic movies! That's macho. A guy who crawls back to his hole cuz the woman doesn't want to appear easy is insecure. Hope you don't hate me too much now...
FataMorgana Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Actually CaliGu, there are five secrets for a perfect relationship: THE FIVE SECRETS OF A PERFECT RELATIONSHIP 1. It's important to have a woman who helps at home, who cooks from time to time, cleans up and has a job. 2. It's important to have a woman who can make you laugh. 3. It's important to have a woman who you can trust and who doesn't lie to you. 4. It's important to have a woman who is good in bed and who likes to be with you. 5. It's very, very important that these four women don't know each other. :lmao: this is so funny I am just about falling off my chair laughing. thanks littlekitty!!!! been away and having a tough time in the last couple of months but this reminds me why I missed LS so much.

FataMorgana Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Is it just me or do other girls on this site want to marry CaliGuy too? hey, and you've even got the right accent as well from his previous posts. you'd better appply first, else I might
Noos Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Yep. Right age, have a job/career, my own home, blah, blah, blah... But I've never seen snow so snowboarding could be a problem... P.S. Re: accents and Australian people etc. - many people, myself included, never, ever say the word "g'day".

" or at least "Dear X, thanks for your email; I agree we have little in common! Best of luck to you! Cheers! " I thought her email was rude and arrogant. Normally I wouldn't fire back something rude but she was out of line. I felt the confident thing to do was remind her I didn't ask for her opinion of me and I had never once shown any interest in her. When I was on the dating sites, some guy IM'ed me saying: "When you stop smoking, call me!" It pissed me off cuz I didn't even like the guy so I looked at his profile and answered: "When you graduate from college, call me!" It was a low punch and I felt bad that I said that. All's fair in love and war! A real man isn't easily offended, right?! Nor am I Not sure if the message came off right so let me explain. It wasn't as if she disagreed with meeting me, she was reluctant to meet me halfway. The message I got was "I'm too lazy to drive anywhere to meet you, so if you want to see me, you drive." I wasn't offended. My attitude was "Hey, you initiated contact with me, we get along, you want to meet, then let's meet halfway." What's wrong with that?
Author CaliGuy Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 I might marry him ...... It depends how well he is hung! No worries in that department. So in that case, you better have a tight body and big hooters or no dice. hahaha.

Re: accents and Australian people etc. - many people, myself included, never, ever say the word "g'day". It's the accent overall I like, not just one particular word. Just love 'em. Don't know why, just get's my motor humming
RecordProducer Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I thought her email was rude and arrogant. Normally I wouldn't fire back something rude but she was out of line. I felt the confident thing to do was remind her I didn't ask for her opinion of me and I had never once shown any interest in her. Well ideally just because someone is rude shouldn't "inspire" you to be even ruder to them! A real man isn't easily offended, right?! Nor am I Good! I'm good influence on you! It wasn't as if she disagreed with meeting me, she was reluctant to meet me halfway. The message I got was "I'm too lazy to drive anywhere to meet you, so if you want to see me, you drive." Maybe she doesn't have a driver's license. Maybe there's a certain reason. Maybe she had a bad experience meeting up with someone while not being on her own territory. You assume more than you ask and give up before you even try. That won't lead you far from the start point, dude! I wasn't offended. My attitude was "Hey, you initiated contact with me, we get along, you want to meet, then let's meet halfway." Well you should let the lady choose where she wants to meet you. If she says on the moon, you fly to the moon. I would actually turn down a guy who wouldn't indulge my desire to meet me in MY area.
