Guest Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Sixth date in 3 weeks... things are going wonderfully and are very comfortable around each other with lots of kissing and touching, but no sex yet. We have hinted around at becoming exclusive, but haven't had the talk yet. She has been gone on a cruise for a week, and this will be the first date since she is back. Meeting tonight for dinner and bowling. So the question is flowers or not? Thanks!

I just started dating a guy, had our first date, then left for vacation for the weekend. I came home to two flowers outside my door. The vase he used was a used Mountain Dew bottle. I was *crazy* about this guy right off the bat..and made it very clear to him how I felt with our first kiss. Those flowers made for a very special memory. Tops my romantic memory list.

Moral of the story: don't listen to men about what women like. Flowers would be fine - just don't do the two dozen roses thing.
