So many of you may remember me posting a couple of months ago about my ex roommate the cokehead?

Or not.

Anyways, I had to kick her out of the house for innumerable reasons, the biggest being her inability to pay rent, but stealing money out of my purse and waking up to her offering me a line was also an issue.

She called, we spoke, this was a while ago....she said she was sober, but come to find out she was staying at her neighbor the crackhead/meth head's trailer. A relative passed away and she inherited a large sum of money, and now she has disappeared completely.

I have a lot of her stuff at my house still -- just clothes, shoes, photo albums, that kind of thing. Nothing major. But I don't really know what to do with it all now. She hasn't lived in my house in almost 6 months, and during that time I heard from her once.

Should I donate it to goodwill? keep it in my attic or garage until she gets sober enough to come back and get it?

She's wanted by the cops now, also, so I don't know that she'll ever come back to this area. Please advise.

i would throw it all in a box store it for awhile and if she doesn't come looking for it in say another 6 months i would donate it

just my thought on the matter

I agree with NTB. Stow it away for 6 months. If she got into a lot of money...she most likley doesn't need the little things she left behind. Or she forgot about the stuff....She moved out a while ago..she would have needed those things by now and asked for them.

I figured as much. I guess I'll stow it in the garage. It was all still in the closet in the room she was staying in..

Thanks!!

hang on to it for another six months and then donate or toss the stuff out...

hmmm, on second thought maybe you should hang onto the stuff indefinatley, it may contain evidence such as fibers or DNA that the cops would need in a prosecution.

The only family I know that she has surviving was her mother. Who was my main supplier for painkillers. She would like give me handfuls of them. Eeeeek. I don't want to go over there.
