I also think she sounds awfully unsupportive of your singing- even when you've told her it's important to you- which kind of means it's like she doesn't care if it's important to you.

Would you allow a friend to treat you like this and still continue a relationship with them? (BF or not) she should be singing your praises over your singing ability even in just the capacity of a friend.

My exh constantly told me that I was cocky and he was trying to "humble" me. He NEVER took my side in anything. If I got into an argument with someone, I was left to defend myself. You'd think my own husband would defend me against guys. He always played devils advocate which made me feel that I was wrong in being mad about things. Tan, you're not in love with her! Let her go. You're just with her because you dont want to be alone, but if you really want to find the "ONE", then you cant have a gf on your arm.
