jerbear Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Since I'm back on the market in a very limited way. Did a search and did not find a thread on good background romantic music. So I was wondering wondering what is good background music and sets a romantic mood. Yeah yeah, I didn't forget about candles. Thoughts, comments, suggestions. I got an iPod so why not put more stuff in and be prepared!
HokeyReligions Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Bolero Classical Gas Theme from Titanic (instrumental) Whatever puts you in a romantic mood. I also like Tubular Bells, but thats probably because of the memories it brings to my mind.
MusicWoman Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto is amazing:) I've never thought of Bolero as romantic!!! hahaha
quankanne Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 barry white is a sure "put her in the mood" musician! Sting ("Moonlight," "My One and Only Love"), Bob Marley (Legends CD, esp. track 1), oooooohhhhhh-make-me-melt Andrea Bocelli is good, too, Santana (the older stuff comes to mind), big band music (the slower pieces) and blues – really, anything that encourages slow dancing or screwing is good, hee hee heeeee ...
Sassy Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Luther Vandross or Marvin Gaye Sexual Healing or Let's Get it on
Author jerbear Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 Thank you everyone. Never thought of Bolero. I do have some arias, Puccini, and other classicals. The hard stuff is another story, ie. NIN or Lords of Acid. I remember Luther Vandross and Andrea Bocelli; I even bought it on iTunes and made a cd for the ex to give to her current bf. Guess I'm a loser! Oh well live and learn. Accessory to my own demise!
Walk Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I LOVE Classical Gas. SO hard to play though. I know some girls would love if you played NIN as your romantic music. Some of my friends would think they died and went to heaven if you did that. I like the sound track from Amelie. I think that'd be romantic. Besides, gives the impression that you like foreign films with subtitles. Don't women swoon for that kind of stuff?
alphamale Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Since I'm back on the market in a very limited way what does that mean?? only your left leg is on the mkt? Sinatra, man.... Sinatra
blind_otter Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 what does that mean?? only your left leg is on the mkt? Sinatra, man.... Sinatra There was this half italian half puerto rican bouncer I fooled around with briefly, and one time he played Sinatra while we were f***ing -- it was tooo weird.
alphamale Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 There was this half italian half puerto rican bouncer I fooled around with briefly, was his IQ like around 75? and one time he played Sinatra while we were f***ing -- it was tooo weird. ummm, yeah....no, its to set the mood....not to have sex to. I can't see myself screwing to NY, NY
Walk Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Having sex with Evervescents playing in the background was majorly weird. Was good sex tho! But every time I heard the song I'd have mental pictures of sex with that guy. hmm... So play a song thats popular on the radio, and then every time she hears it she'll think of how you made her come.
Author jerbear Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 Since I'm back on the market in a very limited way[/Quote] what does that mean?? only your left leg is on the mkt? Sinatra, man.... Sinatra Actually everything except the left leg, and heart. Think Picasso. Anyway, have to finish my degree and keep my options open. I can't imagine NY NY; even if I was in NYC.

I can't see myself screwing to NY, NY I think it was actually lower. Evidenced by the fact that I totally blew him off, showed up at his club with various other dudes I went on dates with, and he still called me? WTF? Helllllooooo low self esteem! NY, NY was playing on the "ultimate extreme sinatra megamix" and I totally just did not get into the sex. I was mouthing the words off the the side while he was humping away.
whichwayisup Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Boston. You can't go wrong with that! (the band not the City...)
