MistyGreen Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Hello all....i'm new to this site so bear with me lol just wanted to ask what people thought of the predicament i found myself in last week. I live with my partner of 2 years and the other day i found that he had joined a 'sex and meeting' site where women advertise themselves naked and you can meet up with them just for sex in your area. He had put in a preference but not any personal details etc. He had also been downloading copious amounts of porn (btw i watch porn with him so the need to download more behind my back is strange) when i confronted him about it all he told me that he had nothing to do with it and that we may have possibly been hacked as about a month ago my daughter downloaded something that gave our passwords out..(apparently...i never saw this) Nothing as far as i know has been done since..other than ihave deleted the account..he doesnt know this yet. He also has an old email address that gave him his 'matches. from the site and again more porn sites....so...my question is...what would you do? I've told him i beleive him etc but there is a nagging doubt still and i wanted some opinions. Thanks for listening everyone and i hope you can help me ( Misty
Gorgeous Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 It sounds a bit suspicious to me. Usually when people steal your passwords they don't join sex and meeting sites under your name. Why would you do this when all you have to do is enter an email. Also, why would someone go to the trouble of hacking someone else's email every time they wanted to retrieve a message from whatever girl is soliciting her services. It sounds like he's not going to try and explain this any further since he's denying the issue altogether. My opinion? He joined the site, not a "hacker" Does this mean he's out to cheat on you? Not necessarily. Maybe he joined the site to satisfy a sort of fantasy, much like viewing porn alone. But I think joining a site like that is a step in the wrong direction, in regards to relationships.

Just because you both enjoy doing it, doesnt mean he has to ONLY do it with you. Re Sex and meeting: - Is he about to cheat? Probably not. But I think because these girls are a little closer to being "real" he gets more excitement for viewing them.

Yeah, similar thing happened to a male friend of mine... he was accused of using his father's computer to download / look at porn sites when it was found to be the neighbor who was looking after their cat one week. Moral of the story, password protect your computer...
Walk Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I got a trojan that kept taking me to a "single women" in your area site. Even had the town close to mine as the place. I think my bf thought it was cool, but I found it incredibly annoying. Couldn't get ride of it. Not sure though about it sending information to an old email address. That part sounds fishy. They do some amazing stuff with trojan's and viruses now adays. I can get my penis enlarged if I click on the link in my email, and free porn from girls in my neighborhood keep popping up every two seconds. **I finally had to wipe out my hard drive and re-load the dang thing. And I don't go to porn sites.**

Do you pick up alot of chicks that way (real girls, you know, ones you don't have to use a bike pump to inflate? ) Bad troll! Bad! ANYWAY, back to the problem at hand: You know..."almosts" don't count except in horse shoes and hand grenades. Isn't that silly? But, sort of applicable here. What's really important is the trust you have (or don't) for you man. Do YOU think he wants to sleep with other people? Has there been any suspicious activity? Before you leap to possibly false and hasty judgments, I'd have proof.

I think a few of the thoughts on this page have given me lots to think about. I still think its strange though, dont suppose i'll ever know exactly what was on his mind. Lioness, i have been waiting for proof, thats how i'm still with him, i admit i do have a few trust issues but what happened did sway my trust a little, after all i am human. It all just seemed a little fishy...i thought if someone had opened an account like that in my name and he found out about it etc i would have done anything i could to put his mind at rest...looked into it etc but he doesnt mention it...all i got was a 'i dont know anything about it' i had to delete the account or it would still be there...you know when things just dont feel right.
