RecordProducer Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Then the questions start : Will the horses have a problem with them there? Will they eat the trees? Will they eat the turkey? Will they blah blah blah Now H knows that I have 25 years exp. with animals and over 15 years exp in this line of work. Can't you see he is trying to learn from you? or at least, if he knows all the answers (which I kinda doubt, unless he pretends to know them), he wants to share opinions and exchange some information. I don't see anything bad in it, I think you're assuming that he is questioning your ability to handle the projects yourself, but it's most likely not that at all. If you've always been good at what you're doing, he isn't blind or dumb, he knows you can do the projects independently. I really think he is just interested in how you're thinking when doing the projects. But if he pisses you off with his questions, just tell him: "You don't know yourself so you have to ask ME?"
prfrogkisser Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I have learned with time that men look at any situation as solving a problem. They want to fix it. Most over analize any type of situation that might occur.Thinking ahead of time to prevent bad situations is common in men. Of course us women get mad at this annoying behavior which by no means its meant to hurt us or control us. Dont let him get to you. He means well when he does it. He is just making sure everything will be taken care of to avoid further complications. Remember .... Men are from Mars Men are from Venus.
alphamale Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 There were only 3 girls in my calc 3 class in college. I could deal with the integrals and approaching zero and all that BS but when they started rotating things around an axis that is when I went over the edge.
RecordProducer Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Remember .... Men are from Mars Men are from Venus. No! Women are from Venus and men FELL from Mars!
bab Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I don't know A4A....why is it assumed that women carry and bear all the children? The reason is because the majority of women are not that good with math and spatial relations (geometry, measuring distances, etc...). And the majority of men are not that great with planning weddings. GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! False. In many societies, women are more easily convinced that they aren't good with math. In asian countries boys and girls test the same in mathematics. In Ireland, girls test far above boys in math. So am I but let's be realistic. There were only 3 girls in my calc 3 class in college. Dems da breaks. That's not always the case. For instance, here there are 5 PEOPLE total finishing their PhD in mathematics this year. Oh yeah, 4 of them are also WOMEN.

I don't think it's wise to compare asian and western education, as they methodolgies differ, and with the gap between girls and boys in Ireland being like what, 9% in the girls favor? That's a rather narrow margin. And when you get into post-secondary education it's a different animal entirely. I'm not going to debate something that anyone can easily google themselves.
michelangelo Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 that would be the 3rd rail in the discussion.
