littlegreen0318 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Hi all, I seriously need your advice. How can I start a relationship with a person living 10,000km away from me? I am originally from East Asia, now studying in West Europe with no immediate plans to go back to my original country. Just few days ago I met a girl while travelling in East Europe. She is from the country of my origin, and i fell in love with her in one day. I am feeling something that i have never had with any other girls. I know that this is special, at least for me. I changed the desticnation to have a time with her, and managed get along well with her. One problem is she is 'only 50% ready' for a relationship. Obviously our balance is an assymetric one at the moment. As I didn't want to be too pushy and ruin the whole thing, I said that I will wait until anything develops on her side and said good-by. I came back to West Europe, and she flew back to Asia. So, here is my first question. 1) How do you think I can maximise the possibility of starting a relationship with her? We are living more than 10,000km away from each other. The only everyday contact that I can maintain is e-mails/texts, and less occasional calls. She is not into me as much as I am into her. But I am serious. Moreover, in fact I have a girlfriend at the moment. She's also living in Asia, and we've been together for more than two years. I told her that I am serious with the girl that I met during travelling, and now we are talking what to do. I am ready to terminate the relationship (well, to be honest not 100%, but certainly will do if I can start the new relationship), but I also feel I have to give my current girlfriend some time to absorb the issue. The question here is: 2) When shall I tell the (new) girl that I (was) in a relationship with another girl at the time I met her? Or shall I never? My number one priority is to start a relationship with the girl that I met newly. Please let me know what you think. All the best, Litgreen
