I broke up with my ex after 6 years together about 2 months ago.

She has'nt been back to pick up the remainder of her things and i dont particularly want them at my place.

Is the correct thing to do, box them up and send them to her new place or should i get them dropped off at her work place as this is more convenient?

Unless you are WANTING to cause her complete humiliation, go the extra mile and send them to her new place. No question.

Yep, you are on the right track, real_diablo. You should ALWAYS give back things that belong to your ex! Unless, of course, he/she is a serial killer that might hurt you or so. It would be too cruel to both break someone's heart and then stealing from him/her. Treating somebody badly serves no purposes!! So, give her stuff back. In a box, through mail, whatever works best for you. As long as you give it back.

Be the bigger and more considerate person. Mail them to her at her home. It's always nice to be able to look back and honestly say, "No regrets!"

Very similar situation like me, just posted 2 days ago

An update: next day I open thread, she emailed me mainly asking her staff back. I replied in a "ok let's arrange it but also wanna talk with you for everything nomatter where you're in your life" way, hopping to save it late than ever.

Just box them up and put them out of sight. If after a year she doesn't ask for them back donate the box to the Salvation Army. Dropping off her things at her job or her house is just letting her know you're still obsessed and worked up over her.

Ok first off the longer that pile sits there, the more she has an excuse to come bug you.

If you dont wish to see her or talk with her, lose the stuff.

In the case that you do, well the stuff is always a good excuse.

Otherwise doesnt matter where it goes to her work or elsewhere. Its in a closed box and no ones bussiness, depending if there is a receptionist easy enough to drop off sight unseen.

Or you hold onto it and anything can happen from having the excuse laying around. A fling, a chat..etc..

ciao
