RedRose3373 Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 HI I am dating this new man for over a month now. THings are great! However, he has his own business & gets really busy at times. I was supoposed to see him yesterday but he had to cancel since he had to work on a major project that his men messed up. & he has an Italian mom that lives with him, since his dad died years ago. She is not in good health, so he takes care of her. He is stressing out big time. Yesterday he called me up so upset saying that his mom is always crying & depressed. She tells him that her life is going to be short & that she won't be around much longer & puts these guilt trips on him. He said it is driving him crazy & he doesn't know what to do anymore. He has a brother & a sister that don't really help out much. His sister takes his mom for like 2 weeks a month. He said she has been really bad since the passed 2 weeks. I have a feeling that this has to do with me. She might feel like she is losing him. I guess i just have to be patient with his business & his mom. If this is the worst i have to deal with, i will do it. I really care about this man, he is wonderful. Any advice?
luvtoto Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I can relate to your story. Sometimes, it takes years for things to work out...but, they usually work themselves out by themselves. I think you are being very mature, patient and understanding, it seems. He's lucky to have you. If you ever need to vent, you are at the right place.
