Okay, its been 2 months nc and i still don't feel much better. Whenever i see anything that reminds me of him i choke up inside and it's almost like i can't breathe. I just saw a picture of him kissing another guy. It seems that i turn every guy i go out with gay :( Has this happened to anyone else? I guess it's a bit of a weird question but i feel like i've turned everyone gay. I mean i don't have a problem with it. But am i that disgusting that they have to turn off women completely?

There is nothing wrong with you!!!

I have a friend that has the same problem. It's a running joke that if she's attracted to a guy, it's a dead giveaway that he's gay. And it almost always is! She's had bfs come out after dating her, etc.

I think it's sort of complementary- there is something in you that attracts a certain type of guy and gay guys tend to be more sensitive, empathic, and emotional.

Don't worry- sooner or later you'll find a straight guy who likes that certain something in you. And remember- at least you don't have to deal with him moving on to another girl and wondering what she has that you don't- you already know! A penis!

Chocolatellama, I dont mean to laugh but....you poor thing! surely there's nothing wrong with you. (I went through a streak myself.... but they didn't turn gat they put themselves the nut house)

If I were you I wouldn't see myself as disgusting, most gay guys have an eye for beauty!!!

Uh..hello? You can't "turn" someone gay? Did you know that? NEWSFLASH: They were that way when you met them. They just didn't tell you.

Oh hush, touché!

People come out at different times in their life- sometimes it takes a while to realize what they really want. And sometimes it happens after a relationship that was good, but made them realize, because it was comfortable enough for them to finally admit this, that they were not interested in the opposite sex.

It sounded to me like the OP REALLY believes that she has this special "power" to make someone turn gay. I just thought I'd point out to her that she doesn't and that they were already that way. Got it? Good. Now grow up and stop telling people to "hush" because you don't like what they say.

Calm down- I didn't mean it as an insult.

I get what you said, but instead of what you said first, you should have said what you said second.

That she doesn't have the power to turn people gay!

Not that they were already like that. It's not her fault at all, it wasn't something she necesarily would have seen at all, etc.

Honestly, I kinda wish my ex-bf was gay- so I could convince him to invite me in once or twice! ;)

But I know he's not- the fact that I had to drag him kicking and screaming to the mall for anything (no matter how badly he needed clothes) is proof of that!

Ladies.. chose your handbags.....! It's handbags at dawn!! :D

My second post say the SAME thing that the first post did. I was just supporting the first post with the second one. By my telling her that they were ALREADY like that, it follows that she doesn't have the power to make them that way. I thought that was obvious. Guess to some it wasn't. Oh well...

Look- I'm sorry. Didn't mean to start a tiff.

I'm a writer and I'm simply over-aware of the tone of saying one thing vs saying another, even if they are essentially the same things being said.

You can too turn a man gay... :lmao:

Tie them up make them watch Bette Midler movies, listen to Liza and Cher, and force them to go pillow and fabric shopping!! Eventually they will turn gay, helps is you have a gay boy scout leader to help you along with tips and hints.

Women tend to become lesbians after realizing that it is a waste of time to have a meaningful relationship with men. :lmao:

A4A - Your post is an insult to the gay community. I have many friends that are gay, and it sad that you are so stereotypical - even if you are joking.

The only way it's an insult to the gay community is if the gay community has no sense of humor.

I have lots of gay friends and they thought it was funny. So I guess YOUR friends, gay or not, have NO sense of humor.

Exactly it was a joke!!

And a4a is certainly in a place to say:
