I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of or has experience with infantilists (adult babies, diaper lovers, AB/DL) and/or furries.

My boyfriend is a babyfur. This essentially means he really enjoys roleplaying as a kitten, wearing diapers and other baby things, and in general likes to cuddle and be affectionate rather than more sexual stuff. This isn't anything creepy. I'm a new furry, and am starting to notice tendencies toward some of the AB/DL behaviors (thumb-sucking, for example).

I guess it's important to mention that, since we go to school 11 hours apart, and live 14 hours apart, it's a long-distance relationship. We met through a friend, who introduced us over im, because "you remind me so much of [boyfriend's name]". We've been talking for just about 3.5 months, through im and on the phone. Even though we haven't met in person yet (he's coming to visit in 2 weeks), we both have noticed a definate connection. Very often, we've realized we were thinking of the same thing at a given moment, at times even down to the exact phrasing. Our interests mostly match, views on lots of things are similar, and there are many parallels in our lives. Although neither of us is counting on anything, and we are careful not to think we know each other too well, he "had the thought that we're meant for each other", which would be wonderful, but again, we're just thinking in the now.

I'm just looking for anyone who has experience with this kind of lifestyle (an AB/DL's and furry's, I mean), although other repsonses are welcome. Thanks!

I didnt know it had a name but I knew someone who I was talking to for many months, who wanted to do the furry :)

No personal experience, but there's plenty on the web about it. Wouldn't be surprised if you could find a forum or chat room for furry's!! :)

Now I've heard it all. What a strange world we live in.

It may not be creepy.. but it certainly isn't normal behavior..

If you think that this isn't a huge red flag than maybe you need to see someone.

Your BF has got some serious intimacy issues...

I haven't met anyone that does it.. or will admit to doing it..

good luck..

I have no personal experience and also hope I never do.

There was someone on LS - NIK (?) - who was a diaper fetishist, with lots of questions and wanting support. Several of us tried to be understanding and helpful, but it eventually became clear he wasn't just a guy WITH a strange habit/fetish - he WAS the fetish. There wasn't much to his personality beyond his diaper needs, and it got pretty gross, pretty quick. Not just the diapers - but the way his whole life revolved around them. Much more than even a normal man's life revolves around normal sex - and that's saying a lot.

I don't feel good about you calling him your bf when you've never even met. He could be pretty twisted in person. Make sure you're in a public place.

I agree solemate. Plus, there is nothing cute, sexy or attractive about a grown adult wearing diapers, and one would have to be pretty twisted to think so. There seem to be all these bizarre fetishes out there. Why are so many people so messed up? At least with the more well-known or common foot fetish one could argue that a foot with a nice pedicure in a fancy pair of shoes could look pretty, and therefore attractive. But a diaper? Ewwwwwww.

Purse sniffing, pantie theives, or diaper dans....... I do not get it and would run like hell. I can only imagine what would be the need for an adult to choose to wear a diaper or suck a pacifier..... just EWWWW!

Is there such things as Pamper Parties? :lmao:

Yeah but someone else could say that a clean, well-fitted, freshly powdered diaper is sexy and therefore attractive, couldn they? I wouldn't but someone might think so!

Dude, I saw this thing on TV about furries who wear costumes - you know, like big fluffy kitty or whatever, and hump each other.

Also what I saw involved humping stuffed animals as well.

...........

hey whatever tickles yer pickle.

People in diapers is either a child (which is NOT a sexual thing), or someone older who can't hold it (and that is NOT a sexual thing either) and needs a diaper.

Whatever floats your boat, but if I was single and some guy I was starting to date expressed those kind of interests I'd head for the hills, screaming and not looking back. That isn't my cup of tea, thanks.

People are into some weird stuff that I don't understand. But as long as they do it with another consenting adult and don't force it on anyone else, and they aren't cheating or hurting anyone, hey, more power to them.

Sanitary is sexy? WTF! Diapers are for babies and the incontinent, and only a sick mind would find either sexually attractive.

The last time I wanted to be a baby was when I was probably 4 or 5. How old is that guy?

And what INFO did you just provide ?? Are you going to provide any ? or are you going to just critique us ?

Honestly, I don't know what to say to the OP. I am not into this sort of behaviour, that's all. But I do wish her well in life and hope that she finds happiness, either with this man or with someone else.

Plenty of info (I highlight this for a very special reason) on the web... try wikipedia - search under 'infantilism' and read the article - also there are a number of works commissioned by the APA... aka American Psychological Association.

I saw a movie about this aptly titled "The Baby" and the 'AB/DL' in the film was repressed so badly by his misandric mother that he never grew beyond the age of 1. :(

I am not well read on the subject, so I doubt that I would have any information on this subject. I will not, though, just start to tell people how wrong I think their actions or relationships are when a) they are not asking about relationship problems b) they are not asking us if their choice to be with this person is correct or not and c) I am not going to do these two above things just in place of not having any other info to give and just feel a need to post...just to post.

That.. my dear is exactly what you did to us....

Do you see my point ?

I'm with A_C. I'm not going to be one of those PC liberals who define and/or defend things that are just plain sick and wrong as some kind of "lifestyle choice".

Art was doing something called mirroring, which is a common therapeutic technique and also useful in parenting AFAIK, where you mirror a person's behavior back to them to illustrate something. Sometimes if you simply point it out, you can get mired in a defensive response. Mirror is a way to help the other person catch on to a potential (say it with me now) error in attribution.

I think Art was just being a smartass..... one of his qualities! :lmao: But only the Art Critic knows...........

A cigar is sometimes just a friggin' cigar! ;)

"plain Sick and Wrong " is a rather strong statement Jen_Jen. What exactly is sick and wrong about wanting to wear a diaper? Is is quite a strange thing to do IMHO , but sick and wrong, rather funny if you ask me , but you did'ent. Personally I prefer the Fuc* me heels and some babyoil . Is that Sick and Wrong too? And who gets to decide?
