dprelz Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 What would be the most romantic/best way to reunite in your opinion? Think after months/years apart and you're both still missing each other. This is basically a question for women considering they are in general more romantic then men. Thoughts?
SmoochieFace Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 What would be the most romantic/best way to reunite in your opinion? Think after months/years apart and you're both still missing each other. This is basically a question for women considering they are in general more romantic then men. Thoughts? Well, I'm a guy and for me the best way is no way. No contact means just that: NO CONTACT. Give us some background - who was the dumper, who wants to break NC, why, etc. Details please...
SuperMonk Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Man, in my first 2 breakups (one short term less than 3 months, one long term after about 15 months) I would call them up or try to meet them again. Sure we'd meet again but the circumstances was not out of love but mostly out of loneliness. I learn quick that reconciliation with a former loved one who shared your deepest thoughts and bodies is never good. Not even acquaintances.
Author dprelz Posted March 23, 2006 Author Posted March 23, 2006 It's just a hypothetical question and not particularly geared towards me personally. I just wanted to see some ideas/thoughts on some sweet/romantic things that would be really memorable. That being said, any women want to reply:p
lindya Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Putting aside all common sense and focusing purely on unrealistic romantic notions, I'd say that arranging to meet up for a date somewhere like Rome, Paris or Venice would be a good plan. You offering to pay her ticket, of course, and absolutely no expectations whatsoever. Best case scenario - you'll run towards eachother in slo-mo, eyes glistening with tears and arms outstretched just before melting into eachother. Worst case scenario. She'll accept your offer of a free trip, and spend the date stroking the bump on her stomach, showing you pictures of her "babyfather" and taking off her shoes to demonstrate how pregnancy is making her feet swell up.
