ClassiFemme Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 To make a long story short: I'm a 23 year old woman and I just started dating men after a LONG (5 year) hiatus, so I'm clueless as to how it all works with guys... I've dated a man (sex was great) for the past 4 months, sleeping with him for the past 2 months, asked him to be my boyfriend (stupid move on my part), he declined but I continued the relationship (stupid move on my part) until tonight. He was naked and horny lying on my couch while I was sitting on top of him fully clothed but not turned on at all, and something told me that it was "over", so I just hopped up off of him and declared that I just wasn't feeling it anymore. Just like that. There was an awkward silence for about 5 minutes, then he put on his clothes and left, so I know I'll probably never hear from him again, but this whole situation makes me feel unhappy. I think that's crazy and I don't know what to feel right now, but I just had to vent.
phyrespryte Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 I don't think what you did was weird. A bit sudden, but that feeling probably wouldn't have gone away and you would've ended things after that. Same thing happened with me and my ex sort of. One day I'm looking at him and I thought, "I don't like this situation anymore". I stayed with him for about a month and that feeling just got stronger. When things were finally ended I felt a little sad. But only because he didn't try to stop me. After I got over that it was so much better. You wanted a realtionship, he didn't give you one. Next time you guys talk, (and I think it will happen) perhaps you should let him know what you want? If you still want to try the relationship thing with him.
