alex434 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Hi, i been dating this girl for about a month now, and i've known her for 2 months and i feel like i'm starting to i guess you can say "love" her, theres just so many great things about her and how well we get along. My problem is that people tend to put a label on love and say that its only ok to fall in love or love someone after a certain period of time, so this is making me feel like my feelings are wrong.... Is it ok to have some sort of this feeling right now, and should i tell her, my other fear is that if i tell her, i wont get the same response back but something more so the less, and i dont want to seem like a rushful dumba**
Walk Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Guess the time frame is dependent on who you are, your past experiences, your level of trust and comfort in the other person. I could see feeling "in love" after 3 months. But if I were you, I'd give it another month before proclaiming your love. Pay attention to the words she uses, her actions, and body language, and that should give you a good indication of when the right time to say it would be. (All of these together, not seperately)
Guest Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 You don't really know someone well after a month or two or three. Give it six, maybe eight months. Then you can trust the feelings you have.
