Sloppy Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 even though I shouldn't be Here is a story in a shortcut. Met this guy, I asked him if he was single (he said yes), I asked him out (he said yes), we hit it off, talked for hours, he was calling all of the next day, set up a date, stood me up. Turned out he gave me a wrong number (I think on purpose) and when he was calling before it was from his school and from a blocked number. I get a call a week later (from blocked number) at 1.30am (drunk dial?). It was him apologizing for not calling back. His excuse was that he liked me too much and didn't want to screw me over. WTH? My first thought was that he was married or in LTR. Or is he really just not ready for relationship and was respectful enough? I thought to my self: "fair enough, he called back and apologized", but I like answers and can't figure this one out. Have any of you boys done this? What does it really mean?
Delectable Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Hey girl... If that was not the biggest red flag ever...I don't know what he could do. He might be a great guy and he really might be freaked out and liking you too much...but he obviously doesn't know how to effectively consider other peoples feelings... move on before you invest too much
