SoDeepWithinYou Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 I suffer from depression which is made alot worse because i have lots of free time on my hands so i am currently trying to fill up most of my free time to stop this. I've chosen to take up learning how to play the irish fiddle but im a little stuck. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the irish fiddle.... Am i right in saying an irish fiddle is the same intrument as a violin just played differently? When i go to buy one, how do i know im getting a quality instrument because i know with string instruments like guitars some can be rubbish or over priced etc? Does anyone know of any irish fiddle tutors in manchester in the uk??? thankyous guys!
