I am not really sure what darlin_coco meant when saying it is a closure thing for females.

DC was making the point that by deleting the guys number from the phone they have moved on and it is part of closure.

Ah OK, I see...

She obviously hasn't deleted mine. Not quite sure I agree though. I think by not contacting me for three months would suggest she has moved on!

I myself have done this game many years ago.. So I'm speaking from experience..

I'll bet ya 100-1 that she deleted his number when she started dating the new guy

I've played the same game.. it was no accident. And you can send a text to anyone making it look like a reply.

You've played the game but what is the point in it? What are you hoping to achieve? Just curious. You're obviously hoping the person replies saying, "What?" or "That's ok" or something similar...so you then do what?

I did it because I was pissed and I felt a little payback was in order. I knew he still cared about me and seeing that I was texting another guy would send him into a tailspin for a little while. I'm evil

I see where you're coming from. She hasn't done that though. She hasn't tried to make me jealous...hers was a harmless work-related text so not sure what the point was - maybe it was to make me like this, second guessing if it was deliberate or not! If so, she got it to work! ;)

Ignore it. Don't give her a second thought until she actually contacts you with something interesting to say. Bury her from your thoughts.

Here's hoping none of my exes ever analyzed my every move to death. God only knows what I'm thought guilty of conniving.

A test to see how quick I would respond for what reason? Why did it matter if I responded or how quickly? She has a new bf, why does she care if I respond?

wow man to see if you are still thinking about her and know shes alive............she wants to know if she fuc%s up she has someone to fall back on if you responded which u didn't she would think that she can contact you if something was wrong or she needed someone for a wink wink if you responded right away that would have even further cemented it into her head

Exactly Right ! Do not reply back ~

I would *accidentally * send back a message something like this : Hey babez, I had such a good time with you last nite. My neck is still sore where you nibbled on it lol. Baby can't wait for Friday nite ~! Love John

Second text to stoooopid ex biatch : " Oops sorry that was not meant for you . " LOL !
