Listen : If some ex girlfriend of a new boyfriend came up to me and say " Hey he slapped me around , Be careful " YOU can da* well BET I would pay attention. ! Would I wonder if she was lying ? I would ask for specifics of course but I would walk into it ( or out ) with an OPEN mind !

And I would like to find a woman OR man who, in the honeymoon phase, would listen to their new love's EX.

If someone were to tell me that her ex I'm going out with abused her, you are damn right I'd listen. And pay attention. Would I leave him immediately? No. Would I pay attention if I already had a gut feeling or if something happened to confirm what she said? Damn straight.

And so what if this woman doesn't happen to believe - AT LEAST YOU TRIED! You can't excuse yourself from being a responsible human by presupposing someone else's reaction and thinking it will be negative. NOBODY yet has learned to read minds that I know of. Until you tell her, you don't know how she'll react. So tell her. It's not like you were about to be best buds anyway so if she isn't pleased, no biggie.
