What do you girls think about Martial Artist's??

I am, so out of curiosity what goes through your head when you hear that the guy you're with is a martial artist?

I think of actors first. Do you dwell on it or constantly talk about it? I had a boyfrirend who would always talk about he was a badass cause he knew karate. I thought him talking about it, as if was great, made him geeky.

 

Overall I dont see it as being a big deal. I dont think girls think it makes a guy hot just like being a chef doesn't....both take alot of time and training and both are higher up in their fields

all the martial artists I've known, regardless of what style they do, are either overly somber and take themselves too seriously, or they have huge egos and are full of themselves. I'm not saying they're all like this. Just the ones who were at the Martial Arts US Open in FL

I only dated one guy who was really into martial arts. He really didn't talk about it a lot and it wasn't a huge part of his identity. It's just something he liked to for stress management and to stay fit.

 

It's like asking, "What do you think of men who tell you they're pharmacists?"

 

It really depends on the person. If they're nice people, they're nice people. If they're arrogant idiots who are full of themselves, well then that's what they are.

 

Someone's hobbies or job doesn't really tell who you who they are.

I find martial arts fascinating.

Of course this does not means that I'll find a guy attractive just because he is into them.

 

Let's say that if i get to know guys whose personality and brains I like, and whom I would have found attractive anyway, if they are martial artists it is a bonus.

 

Also, most martial artists I know have really good looking bodies and are in great shape. I don't know if it is just a coincidence though.

I dated a guy who was into martial arts a lot, he tended to ramble on about it all the time. But I think most guys have at least one topic that they talk about a little too much so I didn't really matter that much to me.
